Director duo Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy has decided to make short films over the current situation in India. Due to the coronavirus, the government has imposed completed lockdown across the nation. Films shooting and releases have been put on hold.
Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy have released a second short film titled ‘Rupkatha’. The film starring Biswanath Basu has released on the digital platform.

This short film story is about a health worker who is fighting against coronavirus. He has been diagnosed with the virus and is kept in an isolation ward. His children are not allowed to meet him. But his son wants him to complete the unfinished story. How he is leading his quarantined life and narrates him story.

The short film story revolves around two sisters. Manali is essaying the role of a working lady who doesn’t know cooking and her elder sister role is played by Aparajita who is a homemaker. One day Manali calls her sister to learn some recipes and her elder sister teaches her how to cook simple daal with a hing.
